Our weekly meetings are on:

    Mondays at 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM

and are held at the:

While there's no need to make a reservation and walk-ins are most welcome, if you know you will be visiting our weekly meeting as a guest, you might want to e-mail our president ( President@fairfieldrotary.org ) so that we can make a point of looking for you when you arrive. By the way, the first time you are a guest at a meeting of the Fairfield Rotary Club, your lunch is on us!

 


General Driving Instructions to the Gaelic-American Club

From I-95 northbound:

  1. Take Exit 22 (Round Hill Rd) and stay right until the stop sign.
  2. Right turn at the stop sign onto Round Hill Rd.
  3. Drive across Post Road (traffic lights) - street becomes Beach Rd.
  4. Go to "For both"

From I-95 southbound:

  1. Take Exit 22 (N Benson Rd).
  2. Left turn at the traffic light onto N Benson Rd.
  3. Right turn at the next traffic light onto Post Rd.
  4. Left turn at the next traffic light onto Beach Rd.
  5. Go to "For both"

For both:

  1. Right turn into the second driveway after the Gulf service station.
  2. The building is at the rear of the parking lot.

How the Meeting Proceeds

  1. Check-in at the table. Tell our greeters that you are a guest and provide your name.
  2. Lunch is available buffet style near the entrance of the room.
  3. Select any open seat at any table.
  4. Please introduce yourself to everyone around you - there is a high likelihood that you will know several people.
  5. The president of the club will announce the beginning of the meeting.
  6. The Pledge of Allegiance is followed by a song and a prayer.
  7. Guests to the meeting are introduced.
  8. Announcements are made.
  9. Birthdays, membership anniversaries and getting published in any printed media will be announced and solicit a "donation".
  10. "Just Because" - anyone can make a donation and share anything (including your personal prejudice toward your favorite sports team).
  11. Any student guests are introduced and may speak of their activities.
  12. Main program or featured speaker will take the floor.
  13. Close with recital of the "Four Way Test".
