The Fairfield Rotary Club is a member of Rotary International, an organization of business and professional people dedicated to humanitarian service and international understanding.
The Fairfield Rotary Foundation will award up to six scholarships in the amount of $3,000.00 each and one scholarship in the amount of $4,500.00 to high school seniors who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community service and exemplify the Rotary motto "Service Above Self." The $4,500.00 John E. Lebedevich Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to the most outstanding applicant. Scholastic achievement is also considered in making these awards.
To be eligible, a student must be a senior in good standing of a Fairfield or Bridgeport secondary school or Joel Barlow high School. Seniors who live in Fairfield, Bridgeport, Easton or Redding but attend high schools outside of these towns are also eligible. The student should be planning to attend a four-year college, a two-year college or a post secondary trade or vocational/technical school with a program of study of one year or longer. Immediate relatives of Rotarians are not eligible for this scholarship.

Completed applications must be received by May 6th. Any application received after May 6th will not be considered.
